Mauve-flowered Greek colchicum ID'd by Oron as Colchicum cupanii

Is this colchicum pusillum?
It has been waiting to be identified by me since the 15th of October 2014.
It was growing in a field between Tripolis and Sparta in the Peloponnese.

I would say Colchicum cupanii which is very variable.
Garden Designer, Bulb man, Botanical tours guide.
Living and gardening in Tivon, Lower Galilee region, North Israel.
Min temp 5c Max 42c, around 450mm rain.
