Approx. dimensions: 19” tall x 20” arm span x 4” from front to back of head, weighs: < 1 lb.
Condition/care: This doll is preowned, but it has not been used, just properly stored for 20+ years in a climate-controlled, smoke- and pet-free environment. First, overall, it is in excellent condition. Clean, smell-free, no stains, rips/tears/holes in fabric, very nice condition. Now, the voice box does not work. We have pulled out about 2” of seam to see whether we could do anything to it but, unfortunately, the box is underneath the cloth body of the doll, and we did not want to take this any further (but thought someone else may). A simple set of stiches or cloth glue will remedy the open seam. And the dolls gloves (which seems to be a type of faux leather) show a bit of deterioration, especially the one that reads “squeeze me”. Otherwise, it is a lovely sitting specimen of fond memories.
We are selling several dolls for an 81-year-old neighbor whose 50+ daughter had a stroke last fall and did not have insurance. Although we are not aware, specifically, of their financial situation, we can imagine what they could be incurring in medical costs these days. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
