The K3 Elite is a doser model
The K3 Manual is a doser model in another name (I think)

Sounds to me like they are one and the same? Compak only lists the elite on their website.

That is a tamper
Most of us remove them as we use a separate tamper

Yes the front has the tamper but the rest of the dosing unit is plastic
