Weigela Florida Monet, known as just Weigela is a compact, bushy, deciduous shrub with mid green leaves edged in a wonderful band of pure white with a small pink line and flushing across the foliage, creating a stunning colour across the shrub.
In April the Weigela Florida Monet bears small pink flowers which add extra interest to this plant in the summer months. Often grown simply for the interesting foliage the flowers are just another added bonus of the Weigela plant!

Plant the Weigela Florida Monet in a sunny, partially shaded location with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive. Requiring very little pruning makes this garden shrub perfect for low maintenance gardens and beginner/expert gardeners alike. In autumn months simply cut back any dead or damaged branches which will encourage a more healthy, bushy growth in the upcoming seasons.
