Juncus gerardii (Black Needle Rush) is a species of perennial grass in the family rushes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, North America, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.31 m.
