Magne has been using a Roland Juno-106 as his principal synthesizer since early 2006. Before that time, he was using a Waldorf Q.

In this video for Hunting High and Low, Mags is seen playing a Yamaha CP-70. Not much is know about this piano but it was probably use in this performance to call back to the video where Mags is using an Acoustic Grand Piano.

The item can be seen at 0:15 into this video. Another good reference of all things DX-7 - http://bobbyblues.recup.ch/yamaha_dx7/dx7_examples.html, which states that it was the BASS 1 preset.

We can see a Roland D-70 at 0'45 of the video (and played by Magne in the entire song)

We know that for the first album, the band used a PPG Wave 2.2 on the recording, and in this video clip, under a Yamaha DX7, there is a PPG Wave.

In this festival Mags was without his main keyboard, meaning he used a grand piano as the bottom console, which struck an issue in this song. So he played the guitar part with Pal on this Jazzmaster.

For years, Magne's main keyboard has been a Roland RD-700SX digital stage piano.

At 0'18 of this vidéo, we can see a Korg M1. It is also a Korg M1 which is used in the recording session of the song (for bass and chords).

This 1988 photo shows Magne holding an Ike Everly (number unknown, #17 or #19 of 57). Magne was gifted one of these guitars by Steinegger in 1987 as were the other members of a-ha, and he continues to use it in his music and at concerts today as his a-ha bandmates also do.

Magne would use a black telecaster at a-ha concerts on the 1991 South American tour, usually on the track Scoundrel Days. This photo shows him playing it in a bathroom before returning to the stage.

The G-Sharp OF-1 guitars were used by a-ha frequently during their 2010 Ending On A High Note tour. This photo shows Mags and Morten playing their OF-1s during Move To Memphis.

In studio the Fairlight CMI was initially used for the album Hunting High and Low, however A-ha was not happy with the result and it was eventually not used in the release. it was however used on their second album Scoundrel Days.

Magne Furuholmen plays among other things a Jenco Celesta during the MTV unplugged series of live recorded concerts in 2017. The Celesta in photo is not the same as the one Furuholmen plays at 53:50 in video.
