    Femundsmarka National Park

The Femundsmarka with its gentle expanses and countless lakes invites you to an experience of peace, tranquility and silence.

The area has its distinctive wilderness area with pine forest, blocky land, low mountains and water. This is an eldorado for hikers and fishermen. With a fishing rod and tent, you can follow the countless waters in the field. Fishing luck cannot be bought, but cultivated through patience and familiarity with the area.

    History

    Welcome to the wilderness

Femundsmarka National Park was established in 1971 and expanded in 2003. Femundsmarka National Park is located in the north-east of the municipality, between Femund and the Swedish border.
