Cool Plant of the Week!

Globularia cordifolia

I’m very proud of myself.  This weeks cool plant of the week was available at at Native Sons but I didn’t buy it because I don’t really have a place to grow it properly right now.  Normally when I see cool plants I buy them without thinking and then they end up dying in my plant ghetto while I try to think of somewhere to plant them.  I’m trying to be a grown up.

  1. i need to comment on a previous post- i always gardened on rental properties when i was traveling around. i couldn’t not do it. i left behind some mighty fine gardens. haha-plant ghetto. that’s cool.

  2. Yeah I’m not so mature. I just made a list of plants I want to buy at Annie’s and when I was done and added up the plants they A. won’t all fit in my car and B. would take up most of my grocery budget for next month so I’ll have to eat some of them.

  3. You just schooled this 62 y/o exactly what that is out on my patio: The Plant Ghetto!
I’ve always said that if the authorities ever found out how I treat my plants they’d take away my children!

Oh, and nobody ever told me I *had* to grow up. In fact I think after a certain age, one is allowed to regress a little.

Love your Blog, this is my first visit and I’ll visit again soon.
