Plant Description: The pitcher plant is a fun, semi-interactive plant to have around the house. It is a carnivorous plant that gets the majority of its nutrients from the insects it captures in its "pitchers". They are passive hunters that attract bugs with a sweet nectar at the bottom of each leaf. Like many carnivorous plants they are swamp dwellers and need to be sitting in water at all times.
