Chinese Bulk Herbs – Corydalis (Yan Hu Suo)

Usually, Yan Hu Suo is mixed with other herbs in a Chinese formula for pain relief. Corydalis also used for mild depression, emotional disturbances, severe nerve damage, and limb tremors. If taken orally it works to lower blood pressure and acts as a mild sedative or tranquilizer. A slight chance it may cause hallucinogen visions.

Clinical Use (Chinese):
Invigorates Blood and promotes circulation of Qi to relieve pain.

Rhizome or dried tuber

Properties:
Pungent and bitter in flavor, warm in property, acts on the Heart, Liver, and Spleen channels.
