Cape Sebastian Seaside Daisy Erigeron glaucus Plant 

The Cape Sebastian seaside daisy, scientifically known as Erigeron glaucus, is a perennial plant native to the coastal regions of California and Oregon. Seaside daisies are frequently found on cliffs, dunes, and coastal bluffs where it benefits from the full sun and well-draining soils.  They are adapted to withstand salty air and strong winds, making it an excellent choice for coastal gardens.

Plant Characteristics 

The Cape Sebastian seaside daisy is an evergreen perennial with a low, mounding habit. Aster-like flowers bloom from spring to summer, opening up to one inch across. Threadlike petals appear in lavender. Yellow button-centers attract all sorts of pollinators. Medium gray-green leaves are spoon to lance-shaped.
