The artist Erling Enger (1899-1990) from Fåberg in Lillehammer exhibited at Kunstnernes hus in 1948. The exhibition consisted of 69 paintings, and it was described as both «diverse and powerful». Enger had a humorous approach to his art. He painted a lot of different motifs, including landscapes, forests and his family.
