Swamp Leather Flower is a dainty vine with beautiful, unusual flowers that bloom through fall and summer. The flowers are often a shade of purple or blue; color may be affected by how much sun they receive. Prefers moist soil. Like the other native clematises in Missouri, this one typically dies back to the ground over winter and re-grows rapidly the following spring.
