Arsenal evolved from surprise top-four contenders (2022) to shock title challengers (2023), but their ongoing charge is exactly where they should be and the team is now good enough to come out on top.

Our readiness partly stems from an excellent recruitment strategy, with David Raya, Declan Rice and Kai Havertz all added to a near-triumphant formula last year.

Their arrivals have brought more height, physicality and experience to the Gunners setup as well as strong mentalities that, when considered alongside the increasingly experienced collective, are making this group more resilient and greater than any one individual.

Therefore, whether they go toe-to-toe with the Champions, scrap it out at Everton or nullify the Brentford counter threat, Arsenal represent a different side than before and are now able/expected to compete (even with injuries) against all forms of opposition.

The ‘underdog’ tag is losing relevance; we are now playing like champions.
