Arsenal breakout defender in 2024 is still wanted by AC Milan

Not a bad weekend, right Gunners? In a near-perfect scenario, Arsenal picked up all three points against Brentford, while title contenders Liverpool and Man City BOTH dropped points, rendering Mikel Arteta's side as top of the table. This puts the end of the season in the Gunners' hands and if things flow smoothly between now and the end of the season, they could avenge last campaign.
In truth, Arsenal have been in the hottest form since the turn of the calendar year. Looking at 2024 alone, they are the best team in the Premier League from all angles. One player who has been key to the turnaround is, surprisingly, Jakub Kiwior.
The Poland international is having his breakout year, despite signing for the Gunners a year ago. Claiming a vacant left-back slot which was left empty by Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu injuries, Kiwior is showing great form and proving why Mikel Arteta signed him. This is only attracting European interest, though.

According to a report by TEAMTALK, AC Milan would like to sign Jakub Kiwior on loan. The report states, though, that Mikel Arteta is only willing to loan out Kiwior if there is a mandatory obligation for AC Milan to buy him at the end of the loan spell. No option to buy, only an enforced legally-binding obligation for Milan to buy.
It makes sense and if anything, AC Milan should count themselves lucky that Arteta is even willing to loan him out. After all, he is a key member of the Arsenal first-team and he is only improving. Therefore, loaning Kiwior out without the obligation to buy makes no sense from Arsenal's perspective.
It would be a shame to see Kiwior go so soon after he was signed but with Jurrien Timber returning from injury, I can understand the openness from Arteta.
