Today's Arsenal transfer news

Jorginho could return to Italy when his contract expires this summer

According to a report from Goal, Jorginho could be in line to move back to Italy this summer when his contract expires. Currently, Jorginho is one of 5 Arsenal players with contracts expiring in 2024 and it doesn't look like the club are willing to extend his stay, given the lack of reports on the matter.

Goal quoted Jorginho's agent, Joao Santos. Here's what he had to say: "He’d suit Lazio more, for the presence of coach Sarri who already knows his characteristics very well, but also Juve who have a great director of sport like Cristiano Giuntoli, who he spent many years with at Napoli. I would not rule out a return to Napoli with new coach Calzona, who used to work with Sarri before that.”

Jorginho was signed by Arsenal in January 2023 and at the time, it was perceived he was a short-term solution. Having played with the Gunners for a season and a half, he has had some great moments and some assured midfield performances. We will always count THAT Emiliano Martinez own-goal as Jorginho's, as hilarious as the counter sounds.

Manchester United and Chelsea join the race for Diant Ramaj

Pain in the Arsenal reported a few days ago that Arsenal were interested in bringing in Ajax goalkeeper Diant Ramaj to replace Aaron Ramsdale. Well, it turns out their league rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in signing him. According to BILD journalist Christian Falk, the three Premier League clubs would like to sign Ramaj.

Albert Sambi Lokonga could be sold for a profit

I don't think anybody had Albert Sambi Lokonga on their breakthrough season wildcard, but here we are. Since he joined newly-promoted Luton Town on loan, the Arsenal midfielder has been in exceptional form.

Arsenal journalist Chris Wheatley has suggested that Albert Sambi Lokonga could bring in some serious money, should Arsenal wish to sell him this summer. Here's what Wheatley said to ShotsTV: "Jurgen Klopp, he won’t be at Liverpool next season, but if Liverpool do want to sign [Lokonga] they will have to come up with big money."
