Cortaderia richardii

The Toe Toe, from New Zealand. A majestic, tussock forming grass with huge, but oh so elegant, particularly arching creamy-white plumes to 3m in late summer, lasting into winter in seed. Sun and average to moist soil. Most definitely NOT a 'suburban' Pampas grass, this deserves much wider planting.
