Native coastal plant occurring naturally from Coramandel to Hawkes Bay. Widely used in landscaping. Produces 1.5m creamy white flowers in summer with weeping green leaves reaching 1m x 1m

Prefers to be positioned in drier site with full sun

Seed germinates readily if surface sown, kept moist and humid. PB3/4 bags are adequate for first 12 months growth. Expect much more growth in second season and hungrier plant.
