Rudbeckia nitida 'Herbstonne'

Tall, willowy lady with strong upright stems to 6’or more from 3’ clumps of deep, cut leaf green foliage...glowing yellow flowers with softly reflexed petals appear over a long period from July thru Sept (some deadheading is worthwhile); great cut flowers; looks good with tall grasses and behind roses. Full sun, well drained (even poor) soils, likes moisture during bloom period. Easy! Bait for mollusks when plants emerge in spring.
