Paeonia anomala subspecies veitchii ‘Blush-White’ seed strain.  Herbaceous species.  East Asia.  This group of plants were grown from seed producing blush flowers at opening which quickly fade to white.   The seed strain seedlings have been selected for their light coloration and similarity to the parent plants.  Plants grow to 20 to 24 inches in height.  Foliage is finely cut and make wonderful shade garden plants.  This species does very well in broken sun (light shade), but can be grown in full sun.  Easy to grow in a place which does not become hot or wet.  Rarely available.  Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
