Paeonia anomala subspecies veitchii.  Herbaceous species.  East Asia.  This is a highly variable species ranging in plant size of only 20 inches to more than 3 feet.    Flowers are deep pink, single and nod.   Foliage is finely cut and make wonderful shade garden plants.  This species does very well in broken sun (light shade), but can be grown in full sun.  Easy to grow in a place which does not become hot or wet.  Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
