Electric Earth Auger - 48V 2Ah Battery, 6" x 30" Bit

I've only had this a few days, but I like it so far. It has performed well so far. I needed help in the yard, my back just isn't up to digging holes! This seems to do the job. I'm curious to see how the battery holds up. I charged it to full, when it arrived. I have placed 4 to 5 holes each day, over the last couple days and it's strong. I question the quality or ability of a tiny plug for a large battery like those that come with Ryobi tools or something similar. I would recommend so far. I purchased after I saw that the company I hired to do some work for me also had one. Beats the price of a rental, hands down. You have to love the value for your money in this. It's easy to operate, size is easy to manage.

I like it better than the gasoline type handles great and the battery holds up well no problem so far

This have been a life saver this summer… it’s been very helpful digging through my red southern clay! Used primarily for plantings, so I rarely run out of battery power. It’s definitely for residential/light use. I bought it on a Black Friday sale which makes it even more enjoyable…

I used this to plant trees I purchased, and my soil is not very nice so I understand it is going to do less than poles in just soil. My ground is a lot of hard, dense clay and some shale - so not nice to dig in (I've actually snapped a wooden shovel trying to dig a hole). With a little struggle when hitting the shale and rocks, I was able to get all the trees planted, but because I only have the one battery, it took 3 days to plant 22 +/-1 trees; some bigger than others. Still made the job way easier than with a shovel, but most of my trees were the width of my leg and shorter than my knee so shouldn't have been much bigger than a post, yet I didn't get close to the 30 post holes per charge. Even if we say that is in good soil and my soil, again admittedly bad, drains more, you'd think I could at least get half the results per charge still, but I only got a hair over a third per charge. Other than that, it is great, and still glad I purchased this last time I saw it on a huge sale price.
