Description

Characteristics: A deciduous, suckering shrub that forms a thicket of tall, slim crimson-red stems. Displays green foliage, clusters of small, cream flowers and blue-white berries.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height and Spread of 2.5m.
Period of Interest: Multi-season interest. This plant has green leaves and clusters of cream flowers in Spring, small blue-white berries in summer, red leaves in Autumn and the exposed crimson red stems in Winter.
Water and Maintenance: Position in partial to full sun and plant in a moist, well-drained soil.


Known commonly as Siberian Dogwood, Cornus alba Sibirica is a striking, deciduous, multi-stemmed shrub. This shrub displays slender red stems, green foliage, that turns red in Autumn, and produces small clusters of cream flowers and blue-white berries. Over winter, the stems of the plant turn from red into a vibrant crimson.


Position this shrub in partial to full sun and plant in a moist, well-drained soil. The perfect plant to add year round interest to any border or garden.
