As a baby, Patrick (Cillian Murphy) is left by her mother on the steps of the rectory in their small Irish town. She's discovered by Father Liam (Liam Neeson), coincidentally her real father, and placed in an abusive foster home. As she comes of age, Patrick discovers her identity as a transgender woman, renames herself Kitten, and sets out for London with a glam rock group in hopes of finding her mother.
