Visiting Artist: Hanneline Røgeberg

Hanneline Røgeberg, born in Norway, is a painter whose work is shown nationally as well as in Scandinavia, England, Germany, Japan and China. Her work has been shown at the Whitney Museum, the MIT List Center, The American Academy of Arts and Letters and the Aldrich Museum, with solo shows at Contemporary Art Center, Cincinnati, Vancouver Art Gallery, BC andHenie-Onstad Kunstsenter and Dortmund Bodega in Norway.

She has received an NEA grant, a Guggenheim Fellowship and an Anonymous-Was-A-Woman Grant, among others.

She is a professor at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University and has previously taught at Cooper Union, Yale University and was a visiting artist at Skowhegan in 2009.

Her work is represented by Blackston Gallery in New York City.

She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY and Oslo, Norway.
