Best Headphone Stands of 2024

Headphone stands are great because they give you somewhere to store your headphones when not in use. They decrease clutter in workspaces and keep your headphones safe and free of tangles. This article lists the best models to buy in 2024.

So, with all the headphones we reviewed at Audiophile On, many of you asked us about storage and the best headphone stands in 2024. In our office, we have many headphones, and the ones that aren’t on hangers in our dedicated audio gear cupboard sit on our desks on dedicated stands.

You could try a DIY option, but with how cheap and good-looking these things have become in the past few years, why not give your expensive headphones somewhere nice to sit?

Below, we have listed headphone stands and gaming headset stands that are currently available to buy.

Best Headphone Stands List - 2024

  1. Oakywood Headphone Stand

Features:

  • Materials: Wood & Metal

  • Build Quality: Outstanding, Premium Finishing

  • Additional Features: In-built wireless fast charger in base

Why We Like It

The Oakywood is our test winner for the Best Headphone Stand of 2024 list.

This isn’t your ordinary cheap stand; plenty of solid options are below. The Oakywood is positioned at the luxury side of the market and does a great job. It’s a premium stand for premium products, and I would have no issues placing any of my favorite audiophile headphones on display here.

It has a beautiful solid lump of wood used for the base, which provides stability when using heavy cans on top. The arm on which your headphones are placed is solid metal with a bent lip to stop them from slipping off.

It uses premium materials in a premium finish and looks great on my desk.

But the unit has one more trick up its sleeve. The wood base doubles up as a wireless charger for your phone and provides 15 watts of power so you can even fast charge.

The price will be daunting for some, but others will appreciate having somewhere nice to display their premium thousand-plus dollar headphones.

2. Samdi Wood Headphone Stand

Features:

  • Materials: Wood

  • Build Quality: Excellent

  • Additional Features: Storage shelf for cable / Support brace

Why We Like It

The wooden headphone stand is a classic design, but the bridge at the bottom of this model adds more stability.

Being made of wood means it will be durable and not easy to break, so if you intend to use it for years, this is a step up from some budget-friendly plastic models.

The weight is also a plus because it can hold much weight without falling over. Its over-the-top design makes it easier to quickly throw your headphones on the stand without placing them.

I like the shelf in the middle that gives you somewhere to store the cable and other accessories, but it also acts as a support bracing for the rest of the structure.

It’s a good-looking stand but is bulkier than the sleek Oakywood version above, so we have it in second place.

3. Cozoo USB Headphone Stand

Features:

  • Materials: Metal & Plastic

  • Build Quality: Good / Compact

  • Additional Features: 3 USB Ports and two full Extension Sockets

Why We Like It

A multifunctional headphone stand with integrated power adapters for charging devices, it’s sleek and slim, not taking up much space on your desk and increasing functionality and productivity. We like this design.

If you like the idea of having integrated USB ports and full power outlets on your headphone stand, this is an excellent way of cutting down on external docks. If you don’t need the Corsair model's RGB lighting (or the price tag), the Cozoo is an excellent alternative.

It is a straightforward stand, the kind you place your headphones on from the top down. It has 3 USB ports in the base to charge your devices at your desk and two full power sockets, which reduces the need for extra extension cords. A real advantage of a unit like this is that you can use it to charge Noise-canceling headphones or anything else audio-related requiring power.

The only letdown on this model is there is no built-in cable solution, but what you are getting is still an excellent model for the price.

4. Amovee Headphone Stand

Features:

  • Materials: Acrylic

  • Build Quality: Good / Lightweight

  • Additional Features: None

Why We Like It

We liked the sleek design of this acrylic headphones stand, but it wasn't as stable as the wood models due to the lightweight nature of its materials.

I had a few original models of these stands in the office, but I wasn’t impressed because they weren’t wider or stable enough to support some of my headphones' weight. The good news is that Amovee listened to their customers and seriously beefed up the design.

It’s now broader and with better and thicker materials, yet it is one of the cheapest headphone stands on this list, and for that reason alone, I think it’s a very good buy.

It is a simple yet classy design with no bells and whistles, but I am a big fan of its clean aesthetic and ease of use. It might now be the most expensive, but it’s a bargain and looks good.

5. Avantree Aluminium stand

Features:

  • Materials: Metal & Rubber

  • Build Quality: Excellent, very stable base

  • Additional Features: Built-in tray for cable storage

Why We Like It

We have another metal stand here, our favorite budget model. It’s a step up from the cheap stuff, but given the design touches and intelligent features included, it’s well worth the price.

It combines a hook and an over-the-top stand constructed of hard-wearing aluminum. Avantree has a few sections padded with soft-touch silicone to keep your headphones safe.

The first is on top, where you hang your headphones; this keeps the metal from direct contact with your cans and ensures no slippage if you knock the table.

The base is also silicone-clad and has a built-in bowl to lay your wrapped headphone cable and keep any other audio accessories like a set of earphones or quarter-inch jack adapters.

6. Brainwavz Hengja - A Headphone Stand Alternative

Features:

  • Materials: Metal

  • Build Quality: Excellent, very robust design

  • Additional Features: Adjustable clamp fits many desk sizes

Why We Like It

The Hengja by Brainwavz is an alternative to headphone stands and keeps your desk clutter-free.

Another item that I own a few of is the Brainwavz Hengja. If you want to keep your headphones out of sight but still safe, the headphone hanger is one of the most popular products from the past few years.

A few models are on the market, but these are by far the best due to their sturdy construction and low price.

The idea is simple: attach the Hengja to a desk or table and screw down the built-in clamp to lock it in. From there, you can hang your headphones and wrap the cable when not use.

It’s an excellent discrete alternative to a headphone hanger and has the benefit of not cluttering your desk when you aren’t using them.

7. Neetto Dual Headphone Stand

Features:

  • Materials: Metal & Rubber Insert

  • Build Quality: Excellent, very stable base

  • Additional Features: Stores multiple headphones

Why We Like It

The Neetto by Avantree is a dual headphone stand that allows you to arrange multiple headphones.

If you have more than two headphones that you use regularly and want a way to store them conveniently, then the Neetto is an excellent cheap all-in-one solution. Another advantage is using the stand to store your DAP or Music Players, thus making it even more helpful.

It’s designed to hold two headphones simultaneously, meaning you could hang a gaming headset and audiophile headphones simultaneously. Its well-weighted base will not fall over even if you have a large set of headphones.

The build is decent, and the body is constructed from acrylic. A few metal options on the market do a similar job, but I’m not sure if they are worth more than double the price of the Neetto.
