Description
The Begonia rex escargot has striking leaves that roll up on themselves from the beginning of the petiole. The color of its leaves can vary depending on the amount of light it receives from a deep silver to a bright green with a black center. Their care is the same as that of other rex begonias, and can be grown both indoors and outdoors as long as it does not suffer frost.
- Light: semi-shade, never direct sun
- Irrigation: moderate, avoid direct watering on the leaves and waterlogging
- Temperature range: 10 - 30 ºC
- Substratum: loose and rich in organic matter, we recommend our general substrate
