Company info

We run activity-based accommodation and wants to create good experiences outdoors all year round. We are certified as lighthouse and concerned with caring for the environment. At our BaseCamp you can enjoy varied outdoor activities, enjoy a good meal or book an unique accomodation. We want to offer a seamless and flexible accommodation for our guests, therefore we have independent check-in and check-out. You get a code for your accomodation. We have a staffed barception for assistance if needed. The barception is located in the Mountain lodge.

Property info

Hikers' Camp and WaterCamp is a part of Preikestolen BaseCamp. We are located by the trailhead to the well known Preikestolen. The Hikers' Camp and Water Camp are unique accomodation close to nature. Hikers' Camp is located close to the trail to Preikestolen and the camp consists of 24 wooden tents. The tents includes two matresses, USB output, heat and a fan. Every guest needs to bring their own sleeping bag, since there is no duvet and pillows for this accomodation. The camp also have a fire pit and access to a fridge and freezer. The camp is located near the water and firewood and parking is included. Breakfast can be added to the booking. The accommodation has shared showers and toilets located in our sanitary building. Please note that this is located about 100 meters up a hill. Water Camp is located by the water a short paddle tour from the beach. You sleep in hammocks on the pier. This camp is without electricity and have an outhouse. The camp is rented privately and canoes, fire pit and firewood is included. Breakfast buffet can be added to the bookings. The breakfast is served in the restaurant at the Mountain Lodge.

The Preikestolen BaseCamp is a natural gem and is surrounded by countless hiking opportunities. There is also a beach by the camp. 10 minutes by car, you will find the town of Jørpeland which offers shopping and food service. 40 minutes by car, yoy will find the town of Stavanger which offers museums, dining, shopping, pub, bars and other facilities.
