Perfect for cutting
Developed from a species found in wet places in the southern Balkans is this fine perennial for your border guaranteed to arouse the curiosity of visitors. Forming a tidy clump of spatula-shaped leaves, it bears from June to September branching stems carrying innumerable spherical flower-heads. These are pink when in bud but open to reveal white petals with just the slightest touch of blue. These have great potential as cut flowers. 2½ft (75cm)
