'The magic of being a child': Unicorns are coming to downtown Cincinnati this weekend πŸ¦„

An immersive unicorn-themed experience is coming to downtown Cincinnati this weekend.

Unicorn World, an interactive and family-oriented event for all ages, will be held March 18-19 at Duke Energy Convention Center.

According to a press release, it was created in Knoxville, Tennessee, by a husband and wife, Patrick and Lauren Mines. The experience includes themed activities, a magical forest, arts and crafts, a bounce house, life-sized animatronic unicorns and more.

β€œTo us, unicorns represent imagination, creativity and joy that reminds us of childhood memories,” Patrick said in a statement. β€œThere is so much happening in the world, and we wanted to remind everyone that there is still room to celebrate and experience the magic of being a child."

The upcoming stop in Cincinnati will be the fourth Unicorn World event this year and the first in Ohio. It was previously held in Louisville, Kentucky; Knoxville, Tennessee, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Upcoming events are also slated to occur in Atlanta, Georgia; Indianapolis, Indiana, and Columbus.

Tickets are $30 per person. Children under 2 get in free. Tickets can only be purchased online through the event website and will not be available for purchase at the event.

Life-size animatronic unicorns and a rideable unicorn will be featured at Unicorn World on March 18-19 at Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati.
