Remember me? She's All That star Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, 40, makes a rare TV appearance as the teenage comedy celebrates its 20th anniversary

Teenage comedy She's All That was released way back on January 29, 1999.

The film, starring Freddie Prinze Jr. as Zack Siler and Rachael Leigh Cook as Laney Boggs, was a box office smash and eventually became a cult favourite.

And Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, who played Zack's cheerleader girlfriend Taylor Vaughan, made a rare appearance on Australian television on Friday to discuss her experience working on the film.

Jodi, 40, said on Channel Nine's Today Extra: 'I had no idea that 20 years later people would still stop me in the street over this movie.'

When asked if she had a hard time in high school herself, Jodi replied: 'I was the complete opposite of Taylor Vaughan in high school, so yes.

'I was just awkward. I got really tall really quickly. I grew nine inches in one summer and I was sort of like a Great Dane puppy, flopping around all over the place.'

She added that she would 'love to see a remake' of She's All That one day, or even a sequel featuring the same characters 20 years later.

Jodi - who went on to star in Boston Legal, Prison Break, Two and a Half Men, and The Vampire Diaries - revealed she doesn't have any more work lined up.

'It's kind of a clean slate for me right now. I'm sort of starting over,' she said.
