Judy Reyes and Roselyn Sanchez are the latest stars to land lead roles in ABC's pilot Devious Maids.

The drama, which is being developed by Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, is based on a Mexican series and focuses on four maids working in Beverly Hills.

Reyes has now joined the cast as Zoila, Deadline reports.

Zoila, who is described as funny and smart, works alongside her teenage daughter Valentina.

Deadline also says that Sanchez has landed the fourth lead role and will play Carmen, who dreams of becoming a singer.

Reyes is possibly best known for her role as Carla in Scrubs, while Sanchez previously played Elena Delgado in Without A Trace.

Devious Maids has also cast Angelique Cabral, who appeared in the movie Friends With Benefits and has had guest roles in shows like Happy Endings, Two and a Half Men and Mad Love.

She will play Carmen's boss, a self-obsessed popstar who is always on tour.

Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz and Heroes actress Dania Ramirez have already signed up for the other lead roles in Devious Maids, while Rebecca Wisocky recently landed a part as the boss of Ortiz's character Marisol.
