Shaggy Pholiota Mushrooms Under Rowan Tree

By PhotoDerek
The Shaggy Pholiota is also known as The Shaggy Scaleycap (Scientific name: Pholiota squamosa)

I was delighted to see this group of Shaggy Pholiota under an old Rowen Tree and covered in Rowan Berries.
This group was found at the top of Padley Gorge in the Derbyshire Peak District. The formation of these groups of mushrooms was ideal for presenting the image in a panoramic format.
