Latin Name: Begonia rex Fedor
Common Name: Painted-Leaf Begonia, Fancy-Leaf Begonia, King Begonia
Characteristics: The Begonia rex Fedor is an indoor plant with foliage of a very light green shade. This colour is then neatly joined by a darker green veining throughout, along with a deep red stalk which holds up the leaves to great effect. The clustered leaf formation will add great style to the room, giving people a lot to admire. The King Begonia will use its air-purifying qualities to remove harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins to add great benefits to the room it is placed in.
Plant Advice: Begonia Rex Fedor should be placed in partial shade. This should be coupled with the avoidance of any direct sunlight as it will cause harmful leaf damage as time goes on. Watering should be carried out when the soil is dry to touch. This can be continued on a once-a-week basis throughout the year, until the Winter dormant period when these levels should drop to once every two weeks.

Rex Begonias, commonly known as King Begonia, are best known for their striking foliage. This Fedor variety has a clustered form of evergreen leaves to bring into any indoor setting. The light green colouring that fills the foliage is joined by a dark green veining on top of that, with red stalks holding them upright to add a pop of colour to proceedings. King Begonia will use its air-purifying qualities to ensure that the removal of harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins is done efficiently so the living area is fresh and revitalised. In placement, the plant will prefer partial shade with very minimal contact with direct sunlight. You should then water the plant when the soil is dry to touch, which tends to be once a week for the majority of the year. Although, when the plants dormant period of Winter comes around, you should lower this amount to once every two weeks.
