Vintage from the 1960s

Materials: paper

Lovely vintage print showing Sorbus aucuparia, commonly called rowan and mountain-as. It shows the beautifully delicate red berries and the delicate white flowers of this lovely shrub on a branch.
The print was extracted from an out-of-print 1959 French book "Dans nos forêts" ("In our forests"), illustrated by Swiss painter Pia Roshardt.

The French name of the species is Sorbier des Oiseleurs.

𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘 : Images approx. 17.8 x 14.3 cm (5 1/2" x 7"), pages approx. 30 x 19,7 cm (7 3/4" x 11 3/4"), margins included.

𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 : These are book pages from 1959, extracted from a damaged book. The prints are in very good condition.
