Hardy African Violet, Ramonda Myconi
A hardy relative of the African Violet, the 'Hardy African Violet', Ramonda myconi, the Pyrenean-violet or rosette mullein, is hardy outdoors in zones 6 to 10! It is a rosette-forming evergreen perennial growing to 10 cm (4 in) high by 20 cm (8 in) broad, with oval, crinkled leaves. Five-petalled purple flowers with prominent yellow anthers appear on leafless stems in spring. It has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
See germination information below.
Multiple packs can be ordered by adjusting the quantity above, or combine shipping with other seeds we offer! https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/truesourceseeds?sort_order=date_desc
GERMINATION
Obtain a sterile seed-start mix with nutrients, such as Miracle Grow seeds starter mix. Lightly pre-moisten the mix with non-treated (non-municipal) water such as rain water or bottled water. Flatten the surface. Lightly mist the surface with water to help tamp down the surface of the soil, though be careful not to make it too saturated/wet. Sprinkle the seeds on the surface of the soil, and cover the container with clear plastic, or place the container in a plastic bag. Place the container at 73-77F, 23-25C in very bright light, but not in direct sunlight. Light is required for germination. If you are using florescent lights, place the container about 10" from the lights. Seedlings will appear gradually over 21-40 days, some will continue to germinate slightly longer.

UNITED STATES SHIPPING
Ferri Seeds ships to the USA! We ship there regularly and are familiar with how to get your seeds over the border safely to you. Unfortunately we cannot sell seeds to USA through the Etsy platform. Etsy rules don't allow anyone outside of the USA, to sell seeds to the USA. This is an Etsy rule only. We do ship to USA, just not through Etsy. All of us here at Ferri Seeds are very sorry for the inconvenience.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Sorry we do not ship internationally on any of our sites.
LIMITED SUPPLY
Shop early for best selection! Due to inventory shortages, and increased demand worldwide, many seeds sell out quickly and we may not be able to obtain more for some time. Thank you for your understanding.
IMPORTANT
Your seeds are best planted right away. If you are not able to, they are best stored in a plastic zipper bag and placed in a dry cold location or refrigerator until you are ready to plant them. Be sure they are clearly labelled.
Do not eat the seeds or any part of the plants that they produce. Due to the fact that about 80% of all plant species are not edible (contain toxins/poisons of some kind) these are likely to be poisonous. Ornamental use only.
