This is a fast growing, bushy annual that is sometimes mistaken for Alyssum however with Iberis amara the flowers and clusters are larger and less domed.
It is a great plant for rockeries and borders because of its rounded low growth and long flowering season.
It has erect habit with lance shaped leaves and clusters of small fragrant white, sometimes pink flowers in summer and autumn.
