An absolutely stunning book, both in content and design. Doug Beube is a seminal artist transforming the "book" as an iconic object into works of art with provocative form and transcendent, almost erotic beauty. With sumptuous four-color photography throughout, thoughtful and precise design by Linda Florio, and many full-page bleeds, and critical texts from a host of authorities in the field, this monograph reveals the significance of Beube's work and solidifies his place in the contemporary collective oeuvre. More to come when finished . . .
