Astilboides Tabularis (Saxifragaceae)

$15.00

A top notch Asian woodland plant with large, round 24 in. papery leaves that make a bold statement in the shade garden. A single species, it had been categorized with rodgersia, but has since become the sole species of the  genus. Sends up 5 ft plumes of creamy white flowers in late summer that nearly compete with the grand foliage. For the northern garden it is one of the best for a big tropical looking show. Give it room, as a single plant  can be 3 ft wide and 3 ft tall or more!
