Plant Features

Blue Angel Clematis Plants produce multiple stems that are covered with hundreds of large, lavender-blue flowers that bloom over a long period during the late summer months. This vigorous grower can easily reach 15-feet in one season. It blooms on new wood in late summer, so pruning is best done in late winter or early spring before the new growth begins. It should be pruned down to 2 foot above the ground. Clematis require moist soils to grow well. In northern gardens the do best in full sun but prefer lightly shaded areas in southern gardens.

Healthy

The Blue Angel Clematis Plant arrived healthy, well packed and bigger than I expected. I have it planted next to a trellis and I'm already seeing a bit of new growth.
