Late-spring bloomer creates a splash with its unique form and brilliant lilac-purple, 4 in. flower heads. This easy-care bulb is a good choice for growing behind heavy foliage plants such as peonies and iris. The flowerheads will dance above the foliage atop 30-36 in. stems. Can also be grown in a container. Naturalizes well. The flowers also look great as a cut flower in fresh and dried arrangements. Plant in full sun to partial shade. Deer tend to avoid. Zones 3-8. 10-12 cm bulbs.
