Heuchera, commonly known as Coral Bells, is native to North America More often grown for its leaves than its flowers. They can be planted in containers, borders, beds and woodlands. This evergreen perennial comes in traditional green-leaved varieties, the newer, bold variegations and everything else in between. Purple Palace features stunning, dark purple leaves that may fade to a greener hue during summer. White bell-shaped flowers appear in summer. 1991 Perennial Plant of the Year.
