Tubular marine alga growing on stone, about 2 to 3 cm long. The cell lumen is almost filled with the plastid. There are one to few pyrenoids per plastid. Cells are arranged in longitudinal rows. Fronds are slightly tapering to base and to tip. It is growing in the high-tidal zone. This alga was about 0.1 to 0.2 mm in diameter.
