A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Allium Senescens Montana is a charming variety, producing clusters of pale purple flowers amid strap shaped foliage from June to July. These beautiful flowers will attract pollinators such as butterflies and bees into the garden throughout summer. An enchanting Allium that can be grown in patio containers or along the front of borders. Mature height 40-60cm. Top size bulbs supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil at approx 10cm apart and at a depth of roughly 3-4 times the size of the bulb. Larger bulbs should be spaced 20cm apart. Leave untouched for a number of years until the bulbs have multiplied and divide if necessary. Smaller alliums can be grown in containers, but ensure it's large enough to space the bulbs an appropriate distance apart.
