Extremely high density due to the fact that the mountain birch grows 2m in 30 years while, for example, the trees from which other coal comes from grow 30m in 2 years. Pure and fine birch charcoal that gives extremely high temperature and long burning time and little smoke development.
The Tornedalian birch forest grows at the top of the northern soil. For centuries, people here have lived from, and in harmony with, the forest. Cold-bound by the harsh winter, it has grown to be extremely vigorous - and more energetic than any other type of birch.
