The Escargot has striking leaves that roll up on themselves from the beginning of the petiole. The color of the leaves can vary depending on the amount of light it receives, from deep silver to bright green with a black center.
Care is the same as for other Begonias and can be grown indoors or outdoors as long as it is not affected by frost. Water weekly, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Place the Escargot in a spot with bright, indirect light. This species can tolerate less light and is more fragile compared to other family species.
