Nepeta subsessilis

Nepeta subsessilis (Japanese Catmint) is a shaggy and very floriferous plant that can be used as a tall ground cover. It grows 24 to 36 inches in height and spreads underground to form large clumps. It will sow seed so to keep it in control, cut the dead flowers. Pollinators love its deep blue blossoms.
