Maintenance

This is a good vine for a small trellis or a hanging basket. It can also be used as a ground cover. It grows in a wide variety of well drained soils. It is fairly cold tolerant in central Texas. Needs more protection from freeze north of Austin. Propagation: Seed.

Comments

Blooms February-December. Delicate vine with lobed leaves. Purple/violet flowers resemble miniature snapdragon blossoms. Attracts pollinators. Larval Host: Buckeye Butterfly.
