Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Thrives in a moist, fertile soil, in partial to full shade, tolerating drought in shadier locations, and sun if sufficiently moist. Prune in early spring to remove old foliage and dead tips. Plants should be divided, in early spring, every few years.

Additional Notes about Black Mondo Grass:

Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens' is not a grass; it is a member of the lily family.
