Foxgloves are the quintessential English cottage garden plant. Most are biennials or short-lived perennials that self-sow like crazy and grow happily in any reasonably fertile soil in sun or shade. Deer and rabbit resistant.

Alba is a white version of the European native. The foxgloves in our garden remain green near-year-round and flower sporadically from May all the way through November. We don't know why they are so out-of-sync, but we aren't complaining! These foxgloves are grown from their seeds and we expect them to behave in the same way. Because alba does not come true from seed, we expect these plants to be a mix of pure white and lilac.
